The jobsite radio or worksite portable sound system category is now one where, instead of the old portable CD player, users are able to get durable boomboxes with pumped up sounds connected to their MP3 players or phones for stored music or internet radio. And according to the reviewers in the field, none is tougher or sounds better than the cordless, portable Bosch PB360S Power Box Jobsite Radio and Charger.
Before starting a cut, it is important to set the proper blade depth since it will minimize kickback. The tool is equipped with a depth adjustment lever that will enable you to easily adjust the depth of cut. When the blade is set at 45 degrees, it offers 1-7/8 inches depth of cut. At 50 degrees you get 1-5/8″ maximum cut. The depth of cut at 90 degrees is 2-7/16″. CS5 Bosch
When I was looking for a circular saw, I was looking for more than something that would make efficient wooden cuts. I was looking for something that would need minimal maintenance, robust, powerful and light enough to bring anywhere I go. This particular saw is by far, the one that meets all those categories. It is extremely lightweight, powerful, and has a pretty solid build to it. Bosch CS5 Dust Collection
When one of these drills is jammed – put into a bind-up situation – applying power to the motor will not free the bit. Some of these new cordless tools have power to spare, and sudden high-torque movements rotate the drill … and the operator's wrists and arms. This at the least is tiring. It can be dangerous. Sometime the tool will twist out of the user's hand, swing around and hit the operator or someone close to the tool, causing bodily harm. Bosch CS5 Saw

Whether it’s new construction or maintenance, many jobs require drilling holes in concrete. Selecting the right tool for the job is critical, but making the right choice can be complicated. Types of tools, bit holding systems and drill bit types, as well as nature of the job that needs to be done and availability of electric power – these are some of the variables that need to be taken into consideration. During my construction and woodworking jobs, I often found myself using the circular saw more and more. I use it to cut hardwood that I use to make pieces of furniture, and house parts like windows, doors, etc. However, most of the blades of the circular saws that I've been using tend to wobble during prolonged use. There was also a time when the circular saw wasn't able to output the necessary power to make an efficient cut on the wood.

I was very disappointed in the blade depth locking mechanism and the baseplate as well with it's curved bottom edge making it hard to run against a thin straight edge. Because of the locking mechanism there's no strength between the saw and the base. Loved my left handed Porter Cable much better but couldn't find one. I own many quality Bosch tools but this one is not in their league. Bosch CS5 Case

This saw replaced another Bosch that was dropped 4 feet and landed on concrete. The base plate was twisted and the blade was a quarter inch out of alignment. Repair parts were no longer available for it. Bought this one as I am left handed and was excited to get a left handed model instead of a right sided one. Based on other reviews, I was concerned about the base plate flatness and blade alignment to the baseplate edge. When I set my new one up I found that the baseplate was flat and the blade alignment was spot on. I docked the review one star for two reasons, first, the bevel cut needed adjustment which was easy to do and second, I was disappointment that the saw did not come with either a case or a bag. You’ll find a circular saw in nearly every Pros arsenal. Corded models offer nearly infinite power as long as electricity is hooked up or there’s a generator nearby. And with most models offering a 15-amp motor, you get reliably solid power. Even the DIY models can make an effective cut with decent speed using an excellent blade. Around the country, these benefits make Pros keep choosing the cord over cordless convenience. Plus, corded tools don’t force you to stick with one brand’s battery platform – you can get the best tool in each class no matter who makes it. CS5 Bosch Circular Saw

If you're new to using a router, start off with a small fixed-base router or trim router, something in the 1-hp to 1-1/2-hp range. As users become more confident and comfortable using a router, move up to a larger fixed-base or plunge router in the 1¾- to 3½-hp range. Look for one with these five features in the best router: soft-start motor, smooth-operating depth-adjustment mechanism, comfortable handles or grip, push-button arbor lock for one-wrench bit changes, and a flexible power cord that's at least eight feet long. All you have to do is unpack this saw to know you no longer have another one of those throw aways.  I use it for making long cuts (mostly 8 ft) in 3/4 inch hardwood plycor plywood.  This saw simply does not bog down even when pushing it hard.  It does not overheat and it does not make that high pitched whine that most saws make.  It looks like quality, feels like quality, and performs like a true champion.  And for the first time, I can actually see where the blade is without craning my neck over the saw.  It is a keeper
The DeWalt DWE575SB is an very light saw at only 8.8 lbs and powerful reaching up to 5,100 RPM. It will also make bevel cuts up to 57° with stops at 22.5° and 45°. The cutting depth is tops too at 2.55 inches at 90° and 1.9 inches at 45°. But perhaps one of the best features is the electric brake which will quickly bring the blade to a halt when the trigger is released. Bosch Model CS5

The soft handle provides a comfortable grip. Bosch CS5 Rip Fence
The saw worked to perfection, I used it in combination with the Kreg Rip-Cut tool to get great straight cuts on my plywood and longer sections. I used it in concert with a sawhorse and some clamps to get great angled cuts. This tool can essentially replace a table saw and miter saw for "simpler" projects. I would saw that if one had a small budget, that the circular saw should be the first tool that you purchase. It is the tool that gives you the most bang for your buck.
