Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A roller or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink past the threads of the woven mesh in the open areas.

Cathileen and the team at BYOG are amazing. When you walk into the showroom, you get the feeling that you have just entered a family member’s home. They are professional, quick and have competitive prices. I recently recommended BYOG for a huge order to my colleges at San Ramon Valley Education Department, and Cathileen made me proud! She gave them exactly what they ordered and beat their previous vendor’s pricing. Everyone was happy! If you want to deal with a local business that shows integrity and community support, call BYOG
People need large amounts of t-shirts for various reasons. You may be organising a Stag or Hen night, for example, and you would like everyone to have their own special commemorative t-shirt. Perhaps you run a club and require a uniform look? People who are encouraging team spirit in group activities might want shirts printed, or people who are trying to promote their business or enterprise. Thousands of t-shirts are given out at festivals by new bands seeking a following – or you may just want one interesting shirt for yourself to stand out from the crowd a little.

Learning to screen print or the other type of printing techniques requires a multiple of skill which includes artwork graphic preparation to ink mixing to aligning t shirt for a screen printing finish. Learning to screen ilk print require more effort than transfer or sublimation printing techniques. What makes screen printing different is the number of steps and skill required to prepare the screens which in itself is an art which comes with practice.
No longer will girls be made fun of for having a band name across their chest that they know nothing about. They don’t need to… they can create their own graphic design, take it to a t-shirt printing company and have it screen printed to their own specifications. Twenty-something year old girls everywhere are breathing a sigh of relief, safe in the knowledge that their clothes are unique, interesting and that they make a great talking point whenever they need an ice breaker.
It ought to be a sad day but it’s not! This slow death of the standard T-shirt has been long and lingering. It started in the sixties with tie-dye, continued into the seventies with colour blocking, wavered a little in the nineties when tracksuits became popular and then finally materialised as the plain white T of the early noughties. What now? Custom T-shirt printing, that’s what.
Digital inkjet printing is just like the inkjet printer you may use with your computer, it just allows the ink to be printed directly onto fabric. Unlike any traditional textile printing technology, the main benefit of digital fabric printing is in its process color application with its latest printers, software applications. Photographic and tonal graphics shaped millions of colors with Photoshop and can be printed on fabric according to the color combination requirement. It is a slow process and isn’t ideal for large runs or fast turn arounds.
I ordered ONE tee with our dog's picture for my wife for Valentine's Day. I am super pleased with the finished product. The customer service is exceptional. Sabrina was so great at walking me through the design process especially for an order of only one shirt. I definitely plan to order again and would recommend Big Frog to my friends. R. M. STEP 1 (Artwork preparing): This is the first step to access the quality of the artwork since a good high resolution design will ensure the second step of exposing the screen will be sharper and accordingly the print will be a lot clean. If the artwork is poor quality then you might need to redraw the artwork or make a high resolution of the design.
After you have settled on the final design and the mock-up meets with your approval, the garment will be chosen. Most t-shirt printers will supply shirts for you, but not all of them will let you supply shirts from outside sources, so check out the firm you choose before you commit to buy. Most companies will be able to provide you with a vast array of plain and coloured shirts which they attain at bulk costs. An honest company will pass some of this saving on to you, therefore leaving their prices reasonable.
